Soft start is a novel motor control device which integrates soft start, soft stop, light load energy saving and various protection functions. Soft starting is mainly composed of three opposite parallel gate and its electronic control circuit connected in series between the power supply and the controlled motor.A soft start controsl more than one motor work is designed and manufactured for users to save equipment investment, reduce costs, and effectively use the floor area of the control cabinet. It takes a soft starter as the control body, and is equipped with a bypass contactor to control the corresponding number of motors. Firstly, the first motor is controlled by the soft starterfor soft starting, and then the corresponding bypass contactor is used to connect the first motor directly to the power grid after starting. Then the second and third motors are controlled by the soft starter for soft starting. Because the soft starter is naturally air-cooled, a certain amount of heat is generated each time it is started. Therefore, the starting interval of each motor should be greater than 5 minutes to ensure that there is no overheating protection during the entire starting process and improve the reliability of the product.
One soft starter controls multiple motor starting control cabinets to match the capacity of the soft starter according to the power of the motor, and reduces the starting current of the motor by reducing the starting current’s impact on the power grid and the mechanical system of the equipment, so as to fully exert the superior starting function of the soft starter. The soft starting cabinet can be equipped with the number of switches according to the number of control motors to reduce the number of soft starters, so as to achieve the purpose of reducing equipment layout space and reducing equipment investment.
